                                                     Scent Description: Fragrant, sweet jasmine, orange blossom and the fresh scent of fluffy white towels evokes the endless-summer feel. Breathe in the air under a beach cabana and instantly transport your senses to the shore.

First Look : Reminds me of the Caribbean. Bright colors and the gorgeous minty blue color of the wax reminds me of the ocean.

The Wax is a Minty/Blue/Green color.

This candle is amazing! I was not expecting the throw on this one to be as strong as it was. It was not a overwhelming smell but it was very noticeable right away.

It smells like a day at a resort right on the beach! Its like a mix of suntan lotion, ocean water and sun. ((Like if sun has a scent but I hope you know what I mean))

The color is very pretty and light. It burns evenly.

This candle is perfect for hot summer days. I was thinking of taking the label off and keeping it in the bathroom. Not sure yet.

This is definitely one of my favorite candles.

-OCC aka Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. $10 - In Pool Boy. I absolutely love this brand. I bought a few things from them at IMATS. I never tried the polish so looking forward to it. It is very pigmented just like their lip tars and lip pencils.  This brand is also 100% Vegan and Cruelty free. This sky blue color is another perfect summer must have.

 

-Kerry Cassil Eye Mask $24. I don't really like using sleep mask but I might give this one a try if I don't give it away. It is a nice print but a floral print would of been prettier.

 

- Smell Bent St.Tropez Dispenser $45. Hmm I was excited when I saw this in the spoiler on instagram but I am not so happy with it now. It does remind of a vacation/beach/resort scent. It smells like you just got to the beach and slather on some suntan lotion. I usually love this scent but something about this one is a little musky instead of fresh. The scent does not last long either. I sprayed my arm around 11am and by 1pm the scent was gone.

 

-Tone It Up Dvd $15. I am really looking forward trying this Dvd out. I still have the one they gave in a previous box. I don't have the time to go to a gym now but I can always try and do it at home.

 

-Hi Im Skinny Sticks Multi-Grain Sweet Onion $4. These are pretty good. They are a healthier version of onion rings chips.  They do have a slight sweet taste and were approved by my 1 year old nephew so they must be good.

 

 

 Like always I was very pleased with my popsugar box. I always say it is my favorite box and recommend it to everyone who is looking for boxes to sub to.

                                              Its that time of the month for my Wishlist.

 Every month I add a list of items that I have  my eye and am planning on buying. 

 

- Prada Candy Florale $68-$88. I cant remember where but I smelled this perfume and I am in love!. Its a sweet floral scent and the bottle is gorgeous.

 

-Sephora Favorites Summer Crushes $48. Everything you need in one travel bag for a summer weekend getaway.

 

-Formula X Press Pods $39. Lots of people were complaining about the one time use pods but I think its a great idea! These are perfect for someone that travels a lot or is always on the go. It is also good for just testing out colors instead of buying a full size right away.  It brings 24 pods for $39 so you would be paying around $1.62 for pod. Only thing I would of like if they came in smaller sets also.



-Anthropology Bunny Clip Globe $4.99.  This little globe is too cute!

 

-Lotus Cotton Bud Holder $18. What a better way to hold Qtips than in this cute lotus flower. How pretty will this look on top of a vanity or in your bathroom.

 

-Mac Cosmetics Alluring Aquatic line -$?? It has not released here in the states yet but how gorgeous does this line look. I want it all!

 

Bed Spread from Urban outfitters.$(UnKnown). I cant find this anymore on the website but I really like this set.

 

-Ban.do Gem Speaker $40. Its a speaker shaped like a diamond.... Glam Music!

 

BIC Pens $(UnKnown)- Saw these on Pinerest and will be on the hunt for them.

 

Tory Burch Sneakers- Gold Comfy sneaker perfect for the summer.

 

Pink Matches $5-$19. I saw someone have pink matches in a clear jar on her desk on Instagram and fell in love. Etsy has many different kinds for different prices.

 

Etsy- More Issues than Vogue -$15-20 (Depending on the buyer you get it from) Shirt says it all!

 

-Sigma Lip Concealer $15. Great base before a lipstick to get a accurate color.

Thoughtful Thursdays

Here we go.....

 

- Some of the shows I am addicted to watching are back on.. Catfish, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Also coming soon is in June is Orange is the new black and True Blood. Which I will have to watch the last 2 episodes since I completely forgot what happened in both shows.

 

-I tried watching Teen Mom and I just couldn't. I cant stand when a mom holds her child against the father just cause they don't get along. Some "parents" need to know how to be adults and keep your differences separated from the child and fathers relationship and theirs.

 

-May wishlist will be up later today.

 

-Popsugar Must Have spoilers are up on isntagram by a few people that received theirs already. If you want to take  a look just search #popsugarmusthave.

 

-I am dying for warm summer days. Just through on a sundress, sandals and head out.

 

- I really want to move to a quiet calm state. I lived in NYC for 30 years already. I love it here. The hustle and bustle of busy NY life, but I am in need of a quiet place now.

 

-One of my closest friend/sister is moving to Cali!! I am so proud and happy for her. I am truly going to miss not having her just a hour or 2 away. 

 

-Mothers Day is this Sunday. Funny we celebrate Mothers day here twice. The American one and the Dominican one since its at the end of the month. How spoiled is my mama. She deserves it!

 

- I am back on watching my YouTube Videos. How I missed you guys!

Glossy Box April 2014

 

GlossyBox has been coming later and later each month. Which is very disappointing. They have not had a box that has wowed me in a very long time or one that I have absolutely been looking forward to.  Before GLOSSYBOX  use to be one of my favorite boxes. Now its turning into one of my least.

 

Bellapierre Cosmetics Super Gloss in Vanilla Pink $24.50 for a .32Fl oz.  Not much of a gloss person so I don't want to open this and ruin it when someone else can enjoy it. The description says it has a natural lip plumper with JoJoba, avocado, vitamin E and sunflower wax.

 

Aqua Spa Relax Body Crème $10 for a 9oz- My favorite scent is lavender so that was a plus.   The consistency of the cream is like a very thick body butter. Very Moisturizing and the scent is very relaxing. I really like this body crème. 

 

Caldera Body wash Coconut Fig Leaf $18 For a 11.5 Fl oz . I absolutely love this brand. I received the full size hand wash in the popsugar box and absolutely loved the driftwood scent. So I will be looking forward to trying the body wash out.

 

Ciate London Paint Pot $15 for a .46 Fl Oz. This is my first Ciate polish that I have actually tried out. I have 2 sets that came in my fancy box that I have not tried out yet. This color is pretty sheer bronze color. I would not wear it alone. It makes your nails look dirty. But over another color it is real pretty. 

 

LASplash Cosmetics Eyeshadow Sealer $9 for a .3fl oz. It says to Apply over lid before applying glitter. Since I don't wear glitter I will not be using this. I will be put into a give away pile or up on Edivv.

 

This months glossy box was a great one for me. It was just OK. How did you like this months box?

Randomness...

 

-This weather we are having in NY is very confusing lol. One day is hot one day cold next day rain. Never know what exactly to wear when heading out.

 

-Don't really have much set up for my May wishlist. Just have not been in much of a shopping mood.

- Sad to say we lost a great actor Bob Hoskin passed away at the age of 71. Loved the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

 

- Today marks the 10th year anniversary of Mean Girls. But we are highly against bullying here on this blog!  Follow the KindCampaign on Instagram and repost this picture #youCANsitwithus !

 

- I completely forgot to publish this one Thursday. Have so much going on I don't know where my mind is.

 

 

 

 





Q Box I won!

I love reading other blogs. One of my favorites is Ramblings of a Suburban Mom. I entered one of her many giveaways and I wont a Q Box.

I wanted to purchase a Q Box but wasn't sure if I was going to like this box. Thanks to the giveaway i was able to try a box with out purchasing it.

When you first open it .. Tissue Paper, Thank You Card, and Bow.

 

First Item was a mini Welch Fruit snacks which  my nephew tore into.

 

Stash Premium Pomegranate raspberry green tea.  Have not tried it yet, but it does sound interesting.

 

Pink Crocodile Makeup Bag- Perfect size to keep in your purse..

 

doodle By Emi Jay Hair Ties. I always lose my hair ties so pretty happy to get some new ones.

 

Sparrow ring. It is a cute ring but I am not sure if I will use it. Most likely pass it to my niece.

 

Floral Note Cards with Textured envelope. Love this, perfect for thank you notes.

 

Laundry Net. This is for bras, I am not sure if this just for travel or this is to throw in the washing machine. If anyone knows please let me know.

 

This last thing I thought was a Dollie or handkerchief was actually a cover for a tissue box. I highly doubt I would use this but I will pass it on to my mother or aunt that would love a piece like this.
